In order to meet the relevant requirements of national environmental protection emissions and improve the comfort and convenience of equipment operation, combined with the problems found in the early commissioning process, the Agricultural Mechanization Central Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the "Central Station") launched the "200kN tractor traction test" project in 2021. After more than a year of hard work, the upgrade and transformation of the load vehicle was completed on August 11, and the Xitianyang Test Site of the Central Station was put into use, marking that the tractor traction test capacity of the Central Station has reached a new level and reached the domestic leading level.

The leaders of the terminal attached great importance to the upgrading and renovation work. The chief engineer of the terminal, Yi Kunxiu, and the then deputy station chief, Wang Guixian, personally participated in the formulation of the renovation plan, supervised and coordinated the implementation of the plan, and the Power Machinery Department and the Condition Construction Department assigned special personnel to be responsible for the renovation work.

The contents of this upgrade include the replacement of the whole vehicle engine with the national six vehicle engine, the replacement of the generator set with imported products, the replacement of the cab, the replacement of the passenger seat, and the solution to the problems found in the preliminary debugging process, such as the layout of the test equipment, the power supply mode of the equipment, the layout of the pipeline and the like.

In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, on the basis of many times of coordination and communication, in March 2021, the main station and Luoyang Xiyuan vehicle and Power Inspection Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiyuan Company") signed a load vehicle upgrade and transformation agreement, defining the transformation content and technical requirements. For more than a year, the relevant departments of the terminal station have continued to follow up the progress of the project, negotiated and communicated with relevant parties for many times, and went to Tai'an in Shandong and Luoyang in Henan to confirm the upgrading and transformation, so as to ensure that the transformation results meet the expectations.

In July this year, the terminal sent an acceptance team to Xiyuan Company for acceptance of the load car. According to the acceptance plan and technical agreement, the acceptance team checked the upgrading contents item by item, and carried out tests such as traction power test comparison of fuel consumption meter under different power supply modes, traction power test comparison using different load vehicles, noise measurement in cockpit, etc. In combination with the test data and the documents provided by Xiyuan Company, it is confirmed that the upgrade meets the requirements of the agreement and passes the acceptance.

Station leaders paid close attention to the effect of load car renovation. On August 16, the station chief Liu Hengxin, chief engineer Yi Kunxiu, deputy station chief Xu Zhenxing, deputy secretary Li Sihua and other leaders made a special trip to the station's Xitianyang Test Site to check the effect of load car renovation, watched the tractor traction test demonstration, and inspected the maintenance and use of infrastructure in Xitianyang Test Site. Liu Hengxin, head of the station, pointed out that through the upgrading and transformation project of load vehicles, it is necessary to further strengthen the research on detection technology, speed up the innovation of identification technologies and means, constantly improve the test and detection supply capacity of high-horsepower tractors, make positive contributions to the high-quality development of agricultural mechanization, and emphasize the need to ensure safe production.

The load vehicle has advanced structure, high loading control precision, good loading stability, large test range, high environmental protection level, comfortable and convenient operation, and can load the maximum traction up to 200kN, which can meet the needs of 500 horsepower tractor traction test. Since put into use has been completed 100 horsepower, 210 horsepower, 230 horsepower tractor traction power test.
