On September 3, a series of activities of the "Science and Technology Innovation China" intelligent agricultural machinery equipment high-quality development forum in hilly and mountainous areas, jointly sponsored by the "Science and Technology Innovation China" intelligent agricultural machinery equipment industry service group, the China Agricultural Machinery Society and the "Science and Technology Innovation China" national agricultural machinery equipment industry science and technology service group, were held in Liuzhou, Guangxi.

Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Luo Xiwen, Chen Xuegeng (online), Zhao Chunjiang (online), Liu Xiaowei, Director of the Science and Technology Promotion Division of the Department of Agricultural Mechanization Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Li Sihua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agricultural Mechanization General Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Liu Xian, President of the China Agricultural Mechanization Association, Hong Xianguo, Executive Vice President, China, Chen Tao, zhu Qidong, vice chairman of the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology, Jiang Yuande, deputy director of the Guangxi Agricultural Mechanization Service Center, Tang Zhenguo, deputy mayor of Liuzhou City, and Professor Yang Minli, director of the China Agricultural Mechanization Development Research Center of China Agricultural University, and other leaders and experts attended the forum. Luo Xiwen, Chen Xuegeng, Hong Xianguo, Yang Minli, Li Sihua and others made keynote reports on topics such as smart agriculture, smart agricultural equipment and the development of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas.

China's hilly and mountainous areas are important fruit and vegetable tea and grain and oil production base. There are 18 hilly and mountainous provinces in the country, of which 1429 are hilly and mountainous counties, with 34.62 per cent of the country's arable land and 34.20 per cent of the country's sown area. The area of tea gardens and orchards in hilly and mountainous areas accounted for 93.39 per cent and 62.28 per cent of the country's total, respectively, and the sown area of crops such as potatoes, sugarcane, rapeseed, rice and vegetables accounted for 78.58 per cent, 62.78 per cent, 57.53 per cent, 39.60 per cent and 37.29 per cent of the country's total. In 2021, the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting in the country will reach 72.03, and the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting in hilly and mountainous areas will be less than 50%, which is a big gap compared with the national average.

The main reasons for this problem are: first, the terrain is complex, the road conditions are poor, the land is narrow, fragmented and scattered, and it is difficult to realize mechanized operation; second, the agronomic integration of agricultural machinery is low, and the variety and planting system can not be "suitable for mechanization"; third, the mechanized production technology mode is complex and diverse, and the equipment matching and adaptability are poor; fourth, the income of grain production and planting is low, and cultivated land is abandoned; fifth, the level of information management is low, and the supply of intelligent equipment is insufficient. Solving the development of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas and the research and development, popularization and application of intelligent agricultural machinery equipment is an important foundation for improving agricultural production efficiency in hilly and mountainous areas, enhancing production capacity, ensuring food security and realizing agricultural and rural modernization as scheduled.

In the report, Luo Xiwen introduced the key technologies of smart agriculture and the current practices, especially the relevant situation of the pilot development of unmanned farms, and pointed out the development trend of my country's agricultural machinery equipment and smart agriculture; Chen Xuegeng from the perspective of national food security, as well as domestic and foreign The development of agricultural mechanization puts forward the technical path for my country's agricultural mechanization to ensure food security; hong Xianguo put forward the high-quality development ideas of China's large and medium-sized agricultural machinery to the world's high-end, small and micro agricultural machinery to "specialized and special new" development, promote the coordinated development of the whole industrial chain of agricultural machinery equipment, solve the bottleneck of reliability of agricultural machinery equipment, promote platform construction and intelligent agricultural machinery layout. Yang Minli introduced the general situation, development requirements and trends of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas, it is proposed to promote the high-quality development of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas from the aspects of farmland suitable for mechanization transformation, crop variety suitable for mechanization cultivation and improvement, production mode suitable for mechanization construction, industrial chain extension and product added value promotion, agricultural machinery socialization service business model building, intelligent digital enabling mechanization, agricultural machinery operation monitoring and big data analysis. Li Sihua explained in detail the constraints and development path of mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas in China.

Zhang Xiansheng, Tang Yongzhi, deputy general manager of Guangxi Liugong Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., Gao Qiaoming, senior engineer of Guangxi University of Science and Technology, Zhang Zheng, executive vice president of Liuzhou Senior Professional Title Talent Association, and other experts shared their experiences and views on the implementation of the national standardization development outline to promote the high-quality development of group standards, enterprise intelligent manufacturing, research and development of hilly and mountainous modular multi-purpose agricultural machinery equipment, and high-quality development, and tea industry. At the same time, the "Kechuang China" hilly and mountainous areas intelligent agricultural machinery equipment industry service group and the "Kechuang China" national agricultural machinery equipment industry science and technology service group expert appointment letter issuing ceremony were held, and the GB18447 "tractor safety technical specification", GB/T4330 "agricultural trailer", GB/T "agricultural trailer test method" and other standards of discussion and exchange were held.

Participants also visited Guangxi Liugong Global R & D Center, Guangxi Shanyuan Food Co., Ltd., and the tea mechanization equipment site meeting. The forum was jointly organized by the Agricultural Mechanization Branch, Standardization Branch, Agricultural Aviation Branch, National Tractor Standardization Technical Committee, Liuzhou Doctoral Federation, Agricultural Mechanization Management Center and other units, and won the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Science and Technology Association and Liuzhou Science and Technology Strong support from the Technology Association and Liuzhou Science and Technology Bureau.
